First stop after leaving Seattle this morning was Snoqualmie Falls. The water seemed to be flowing really strong which made it a lot more interesting to look at compared to the falls in Yosemite where the flow was weak due to the drought they were having. Only spent a few minutes watching the falls before hitting the road again as I knew I had a long day ahead of me. 500+ miles long type of day :)
After checking out the falls, it was time to hop onto I 90 and start heading east. Leaving Seattle I 90 had the best views I've ever seen while being on an Interstate. It got a bit boring through the western part of Washington but as soon as I hit Idaho and all the way into Montana, the views became beautiful again.
While travelling down I 90, traffic all of a sudden came to a stand still and ambulances kept going by left and right. They closed the highway around Vantage I believe and made everybody exit. I ended up pulling up by the on ramp back onto I 90 and started talk with some people that were out of their cars. Turns out there was a giant accident but nobody knew how bad it really was. The group of us thought that the highway would open back up in a bit and we could keep going on our merry way. Boy were we wrong. From a quick article I found, "Thirteen people have been hurt in a crash involving 15 cars and nine semi-trucks that closed Interstate 90 near the Vantage Bridge in Eastern Washington." So it was a bit bigger crash than we had all thought and from that article it says they are keeping EB closed until the next day. Once we talked with a tow truck driver we all decided to just take the detour and go on our way. Turns out you can meet some cool/friendly people , everywhere, even on the side of the road. Who knew?

All in all, added an extra 3 hours to the day.

Not too many other pictures as there were no good places to pull over and take pictures while on the interstate. Then nce I got off the interstate to head towards Kalispell I was trying to not waste time and get there before it got dark. The ride up Kalispell was absolutely beautiful, which make me super excited for Glacier National Park tomorrow!
