Left Eureka around 10:30, tried to sleep in a little bit to let the weather warm up. With the weather being awfully cold yesterday I figured I'd play the day by ear. First hour was pretty foggy and cold, if you look at the pictures it shows how foggy it was. The ocean was right behind the fog, at least that's what I heard and my gps showed. At some places could barely see in front of me. Eventually warmed up to 70 and the sun came out so I booked my hotel while getting gas.
Although it did warm up a bit for a while, most of the day was riding through fog and 60 degree temps. Ended up abandoning riding up 101 up the rest of the way to Seattle and going to ride by Mount St. Helens on some twisty roads.
