Left the hotel in Great Falls, MT pretty early this morning to go to Yellowstone. Within a few miles they had a sign for elk crossing ahead and sure enough, there were 3 elk grazing in the median and then about a block or two up a whole family resting in the shade right outside a store.
While taking pictures, I realized I should have charged the battery as it was almost dead :(

Next stop was a little geyser that was smoking as I passed by. First geyser I've seen since I've been a little kid so it was fun to see one again as an adult.
Think the following pictures were from what they called a painting pot. This was where my camera died taking a video of one of the geyser spraying water.
Of course while in Yellowstone, you have to go see Old Faithful! So of course I saw that and tried to take a video on my gopro, see how that turns out once I get back home.
Saw a couple buffalo and a few more deer while riding through the rest of the park. It had to have been the biggest national park I've been through on this trip and was really fun to see the geysers.
Staying the night in Cody, WY and this was the first hotel I stayed at that I could roll the bike into the room. So I had to take a picture!

Went and got dinner at Buffalo Bill's Irma Hotel. Had a buffalo burger, seemed fitting, and a beer at the bar. Burger was pretty good but best part was to be in the hotel that Buffalo Bill build back in 1902.
Hope to try and make it home tomorrow, although that means a 13/14 hour day of riding. Hope to hit the road right after breakfast and fingers crossed I don't wimp out and can make it home!
